Marlon Vera – UFC Bantamweight Fighter BJJ Training With Cole Abate
The most popular and appealing martial art is BJJ. Veterans of the UFC and MMA have suddenly increased their participation in BJJ. Hollywood stars like Tom Hardy and Dave Bautista have been spotted practicing BJJ moves in addition to fighters from other fighting styles. Even Mark Zuckerberg, the creator of Facebook and CEO of Meta, has participated in Gi and No-Gi BJJ competitions.
Black belt in BJJ Marlon Andres Vera Delgado is now putting in a lot of BJJ work in preparation for his upcoming UFC fight. Vera is ranked sixth among Bantamweights in the UFC. Vera is practicing for his UFC match against Henry Cejudo, which will take place at UFC 292 in Boston on August 19, 2023. Cole Abate, an American submission grappler with a brown belt, is Vera’s trainer. Vera joined Art of Jiu Jitsu (AOJ) in order to improve his grappling capabilities.
Vera has a 20-8-1 MMA record. He has never lost a match after submission and won eight of them. Moreover, he has received numerous awards for “Fight of the Night” and “Performance of the Night.” Abate is the pro trainer Vera can practice with because he is a skilled grappler. As a purple belt, Abate won the 2022 IBJJF World Championship. Even as a brown belt, he won the 2023 IBJJF European Championship. Abate has been giving the black belts a rough fight, even as a brown belt.
