Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg has been training in mixed martial arts for the past few months. He is one of the most serious BJJ players so far now. After getting the silver and gold medals, he has been actively practicing with BJJ legends. Recently, he was promoted to BJJ Blue belt, which was a great achievement for him. This accomplishment is credited to his dedication, hardwork and passion.
Even BJJ fans were looking forward to the exciting fight between the Tesla Motors CEO Elon Musk and Meta CEO. After the public posts exchange, both showed interest in facing each other in a BJJ cage fight. Due to some reasons, it could not be scheduled. Unfortunately, now the Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg has to postpone all his MMA scheduled fights due to his surgery to replace a torn ACL. Mark Zuckerberg had an ACL torn during MMA sparring.
Zuckerberg mentioned that he was training for the upcoming match. He stated:
“Tore my ACL sparring and just got out of surgery to replace it. Grateful for the doctors and team taking care of me. I was training for a competitive MMA fight early next year, but now that’s delayed a bit. Still looking forward to doing it after I recover.
Thanks to everyone for the love and support.”
Claudio Franca appreciated the BJJ SKills of Meta CEO as:
“I could see that he has a good level in Jiu-Jitsu. He is a very intelligent, studious, focused and competitive person. These requirements are essential to evolve in Jiu-Jitsu. Sport brings many benefits, such as increasing self-esteem, gaining confidence and the feeling of overcoming adversity. This is true both for a billionaire in his 40s and for a teenager who still does not practice physical activities.”
BJJ fans are praying for his fast recovery so that he can come back and show his outstanding performance on the BJJ mat.
