Gordon Ryan will defend his heavyweight title against Lucas “Hulk” Barbosa at WNO 21 on November 30, 2023.
This information was made public soon after Ryan successfully defended his WNO championship against Patrick Gaudio at WNO 20: Night of Champions.

The remainder of the WNO 21 card is still a mystery. The major event will undoubtedly be Ryan vs. Barbosa’s competition.
In particular, Barbosa wants to compensate for losing to Ryan’s colleague Giancarlo Bodoni in ADCC 2022.
Barbosa and Ryan had already competed with one another twice before this fight. Ryan is currently in the lead after victory at Fight 2 Win 30 in 2017 and scored 3-0 vs Barbosa at ADCC 2019.
Ryan had to take a year off from the mats because of health issues, but he returned in 2023 with a bang.

Ryan opened a chest with a bottle of “Proper 12” (a whiskey Of Conor McGregor) and a message predicting an Armbar outcome after winning the fight.
